A project on local culture has been launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      June 1, 2026 19:34 Society The Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, together with the news platform Zen, presented the project "Land of Creators," dedicated to local culture, crafts, and tourist routes of the region. Its launch coincides with the beginning of the summer season.

      The center of the project is a thematic channel on Zen. It features an interactive map of the region, travel routes, city guides, and recommendations for travelers. The platform also collects materials from authors and regional media about folk crafts, architecture, and cultural features of the area.

      Special attention is given to the cities that are part of the "new Golden Ring" of Russia—Vyksa, Arzamas, Gorodets, and Chkalovsk.

      As part of the project, a collaboration was realized with Nizhny Novgorod artist Evgenia Goltsova, the author of "MATRIX," which has become a symbol of the modern craft culture of the region. A series of objects inspired by local crafts and images of artisans was created specifically for the initiative.

      Additionally, a three-meter "MATRIX" was installed as an art object of the project in the Alexandrovsky Garden during the "Capital of Sunsets" festival.

      Let us remind you that at the CIPR-2026 (12+) conference, the regional government and Zen signed an agreement on cooperation aimed at the informational promotion of public and cultural initiatives, as well as the development of the tourist attractiveness of the region.
