The program for the celebration of Children's Day in Nizhny Novgorod has been published.

On June 1, themed events (0+) will take place in city parks, theaters, museums, a planetarium, cultural centers, and libraries. Concerts, festivals, master classes, games, and educational activities have been prepared for young Nizhny Novgorod residents and their parents. As reported by the city head Yuri Shalabaev, numerous activities have been organized for the main heroes of the holiday. Separate events will traditionally be held for children in difficult life situations and children with health issues. The chamber orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod" will perform at the Social Development Center of the Nizhny Novgorod region, and the "Change" leisure center will launch the "We Are Going to the Movies!" campaign for the students of rehabilitation centers. Parks One of the central venues will be the "Switzerland" park. Starting at 11:00, dance training sessions for children and adults, quizzes, and an animation program will begin here. A concert will take place from 13:00 to 16:00. In the Avtozavodsky park, the festive program will run from 11:00 to 18:00. At the 1st of May park, the "First Movement Festival" will kick off at 10:00 with an interactive program dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Guests can expect a concert, themed festival areas, exhibitions, sports zones, and activities from partner organizations. The celebration will conclude at 15:00. In the Stankozavod park, relays, children's animation, a big pillow show, and master classes will take place from 17:00 to 19:00. A "garage sale" for toy exchanges will also be organized here—participants need to register in advance and set up their area in the main square of the park. A festive program is also planned at the Children's Park in Kstovo. From 10:00 to 19:00, the Kstovo Puppet Theater will hold a concert, quests, active games, master classes, and award the winners of competitions. Theaters, Museums, and Planetarium At the children's theater "Vera," the VIII regional festival of family and school amateur theaters "Forward for the Blue Bird" will take place from 10:00 to 17:00. Twelve performances from collectives from Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk, Sarov, and Kstovo will be presented to the audience. Admission is free. The Nizhny Novgorod planetarium named after G. M. Grechko has prepared a large family program. In the "Cosmonautics" hall, the lecture "Animals in Space" will be presented for the first time. A soap bubble show, face painting, and physical experiments from the Museum of Entertaining Sciences "Quarks" will take place in the foyer. Throughout the day, full-dome programs will be shown in the Large Star Hall. The A.M. Gorky Museum-apartment invites visitors to the "Hour of Yard Games in the Museum Courtyard 'Classic of the Game,'" and an interactive tour with a master class "In the Land of Magical Stories" will take place in the Kashirin's House. The N.A. Dobrolyubov Literary and Memorial Museum will host the program "This is not just playing with biryulki!"
