      Several hockey players have ended their performances for Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" due to the expiration of their contracts. The team is losing defenders Denis Alexandrov, Sergey Boykov, and Mikhail Naumenko. Forwards Maxim Letunov, Shane Prince, and Dmitry Shevchenko will continue their careers at other clubs. One of the key figures in the Nizhny Novgorod team in recent years has been 30-year-old Maxim Letunov. The forward has been with "Torpedo" since 2022. In the regular KHL championship for the 2025/2026 season, he participated in 60 matches and scored 28 points (12+16). In the 2026 Gagarin Cup playoffs, the forward played 10 games and recorded 6 points (1+5). He will continue his career at Moscow's "Dynamo."
