Famous Nizhny Novgorod doctor and professor Alexander Klyotskin has died.

As reported by the representative of the healthcare sector in the region, Alexey Nikонов, the specialist dedicated over 40 years to working in the healthcare system of the Nizhny Novgorod region. His main areas of activity were phlebology and vascular surgery. For a long time, Alexander Klyotskin worked as a professor at the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Additional Professional Education at PIMU. In 2012, he was awarded the Nizhny Novgorod Prize. The award was given for the development of a treatment method for acute thrombophlebitis, implemented at the City Clinical Hospital No. 40. The professor also held the position of president of the Association of Angiologists, Phlebologists, and Vascular Surgeons of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Colleagues and students noted that Alexander Klyotskin was distinguished by principled honesty, strong will, and sincerity.
