      May 31, 2026 18:15 Incidents The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has requested a report on the criminal case again after residents complained about the poor condition of the road in Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia. A complaint about the ongoing violation of the rights of residents of the Krasnoslobodsky rural council was received by the information center of the agency. The issue concerns the road leading to the villages of Yezhovo and Svobodnoye, as well as to the gardening associations "Razvilie" and "Astra-1." Previously, Alexander Bastrykin had already put this situation under control at the central office of the Investigative Committee. In the regional office of the Investigative Committee for Nizhny Novgorod region, criminal cases on this matter were initiated four times, but these decisions were subsequently canceled by the supervisory authority. Now the investigative department has reopened the criminal case to protect the rights of residents. The head of the Investigative Committee instructed the head of the regional office, Ayrat Akhmetshin, to report on the progress of the investigation and what measures are being taken to restore people's rights to a quality road. The execution of the instruction is under the control of the central office of the agency.
