If in 2021 there were 1,461 IVF procedures, then in 2025 their number reached 2,910. Thus, the indicator has doubled.

      "Every third procedure is funded by the regional budget. As a result, there are no queues for obtaining a referral for this procedure," noted Gleb Nikitin.

      Let us remind you that since July 1, 2025, a set of support measures for families with children, initiated by the governor, has also been in effect in the region. Among them is the parental basic income "Osnova," which is provided regardless of need. Taking into account the federal maternity capital, the total amount of support is at least 1 million rubles per family. At the same time, payments under the "Osnova" program are not taken into account when calculating the family's income for the appointment of other benefits, including the unified one. Funding is carried out exclusively from the regional budget.

      In addition, families receive a "Gift for the Newborn" certificate. The funds can be used to purchase goods from local producers through a showcase on one of the marketplaces. At the same time, the social program "Demographic Special Forces" continues to operate in the region. After the introduction of these measures, the total fertility rate in the region increased by almost 6%, and for the third and subsequent children, by 10.5%. In the first four months of 2026, the indicator rose by another 2%, which became the highest growth in the country.
