This was reported by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, during a report to the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region on the activities of the regional government for 2025. "As for the task of increasing labor productivity, work is being organized at the micro level, with individual enterprises. Throughout 2025, specialists from the Regional Competence Center worked to attract Nizhny Novgorod enterprises to the federal project. Project participants receive expert support to improve their business processes, production, logistics, and sales of their products. In total, more than 300 of our enterprises have participated in the project since its inception, with 52 companies joining in 2025," Gleb Nikitin said. He noted that as a result of project implementation, the average increase in output was over 40%. "In addition to enterprises in basic non-resource sectors of the economy, 357 pilot state and municipal social institutions joined the implementation of the federal project 'Labor Productivity' starting in 2025. Over the course of 2025, more than 670 employees of subordinate organizations in the social sphere were trained in lean management tools and methods, and 24 projects aimed at increasing labor productivity are also being implemented," Gleb Nikitin added.
