Evgeny Chintsov congratulated the graduates of the Nizhny Novgorod gymnasium on their last bell.

      May 26, 2026 17:56 Society The Chairman of the City Duma of Nizhny Novgorod, Evgeny Chintsov, attended the last bell ceremony at Gymnasium No. 53. The solemn event, dedicated to the graduation of students, took place on May 26. Participants in the ceremony included graduates from two eleventh grades, their parents, teachers, representatives of the administration of the Soviet district, as well as universities from Nizhny Novgorod. The celebration in the gymnasium's assembly hall began with the performance of the Russian anthem.

      Addressing the graduates, Evgeny Chintsov noted that the last school bell opens a new stage in life for yesterday's students.

      "Your beloved gymnasium has given you the experience of living in an environment where you need to think, argue, make mistakes, and correct them, make friends, and be part of a team. This is what stays with a person for a lifetime," said the Chairman of the City Duma.

      He wished the graduates not to be afraid to choose their own path, to become stronger and more determined. The director of the gymnasium, twice laureate of the Nizhny Novgorod Prize, Svetlana Golubeva, congratulated the 49 graduates of the educational institution. She wished the students confidence in themselves, achievement of their goals, and a successful future.

      With parting words, the deputy head of the administration of the Soviet district, Yulia Mishanova, the rector of NGLU named after Dobrolyubov, Nikita Avralev, and the deputy prorector for academic work of NNSU named after Lobachevsky, Yulia Kolchina, also spoke. They thanked the teachers and parents for raising the graduates and wished the students success in passing their exams and choosing a profession that suits them.

      During the solemn ceremony, songs and poems were performed, graduates showcased scenes from school life, and presented flowers to their teachers.
