Energy of sports: the corporate team En+ Teplo Volga ran 450 km in the half-marathon "Run, Hero!"

Over 100 adults and children—each on their own distance—ran 450 km. Nine people completed the half marathon distance of 21 km. "The team spirit gives us energy, strength, and confidence. It's easier to run a half marathon together with colleagues. For me, participating in the race is not about the podium with prize places, but about testing my abilities, overcoming myself, and getting a charge of energy," shared Maria Repina, the leading economist of the En+ Teplo Volga branch. The youngest sports enthusiast from the En+ Teplo Volga team is 4 years old, and the most experienced is 56 years old. Traditionally, children's races are not inferior in emotional intensity to adult competitions. "My children have been participating in the 'Run, Hero' half marathon for the third year now. They always look forward to this event to test their strength and earn another coveted medal for their achievements. Previously, I was a spectator, watching and wondering why I wasn't participating; I also want to feel that charge of emotions and drive. A few weeks of training, and I'm running my first 5 kilometers. It's super positive emotions; now I want more and more, thanks to my colleagues at En+ for this opportunity to be part of a large sports movement!" shared Olga Nesterova, the business systems development manager at En+ Teplo Volga. The large-scale "Run, Hero" race involved 20,000 sports enthusiasts from the Nizhny Novgorod region and other regions of the country. Part of the funds raised during the race is traditionally directed to charity by the organizers. By the way, this weekend, our colleagues from En+ and RUSAL participated in the nationwide races in many cities across the country, from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow.
