Three teenagers were punished for Nazi symbols in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On May 25, 2026, at 17:40, Incidents In Zavolzhye, three minors were held administratively responsible after a check conducted by police officers. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Prohibited materials were identified during internet monitoring. According to the police, images of Nazi attributes and symbols of extremist organizations, the public demonstration of which is prohibited by Russian legislation, were found on the pages of users of one of the social networks.

      The check was conducted by employees of the juvenile affairs department of the police department in Zavolzhye of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Gorodetsky." During the work, it was established that the materials were posted by three students from one of the schools in the city, born in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

      The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the teenagers had reached the age of administrative responsibility as provided for in part 1 of Article 2.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation.

      Administrative protocols were drawn up against the minors under part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation for the propaganda or public demonstration of Nazi attributes or symbols.

      In addition, administrative materials were drawn up against the parents of the teenagers under part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation for failing to fulfill their duties regarding the maintenance and upbringing of minors.

      The materials were sent to the commission for juvenile affairs and the protection of their rights. Following the review, those responsible were held administratively accountable.

      The teenagers were also placed on preventive registration with the juvenile affairs department. Individual preventive work was organized with them to prevent similar violations in the future.
