The stages of the Grand Prix of Russia in figure skating will take place for the first time in Nizhny Novgorod.

      For the first time, the stages of the Grand Prix series in figure skating (6+) will take place in Nizhny Novgorod and Yekaterinburg. This is reported on the website of the Russian Figure Skating Federation. The Grand Prix series in Russia includes six junior and five senior stages. The junior series will start in Moscow, where two stages will be held consecutively. The first will take place at the "Dream" arena under the name "Ice of Dreams" from September 30 to October 4. The second stage, the "A.G. Gorshkov Memorial," will be hosted by "Navka Arena" from October 8 to October 12. The third junior stage, "Rhapsody of Ice," will take place in Nizhny Novgorod from October 13 to October 16. The fourth stage, "Krasnoyarsk," will be held in Krasnoyarsk from October 27 to October 30. The fifth stage, "Gold of the Urals," will be hosted by Yekaterinburg from November 3 to November 6. The final, sixth stage, "Heart of Siberia," will take place in Omsk from November 10 to November 13. The senior Grand Prix series in Russia will start in Nizhny Novgorod. The "Rhapsody of Ice" stage will take place from October 16 to October 19, featuring all four disciplines. The second stage, "Nevsky Ice," will be held in St. Petersburg from October 22 to October 26, also in all four disciplines. The third stage, "Krasnoyarsk," will take place in Krasnoyarsk from October 30 to November 2. The program will include singles and pairs skating. The fourth stage, "Gold of the Urals," will be hosted by Yekaterinburg from November 6 to November 9. Singles and dance duets will perform there. The fifth stage, "Heart of Siberia," will take place in Omsk from November 13 to November 16. All four types of figure skating will be represented at the tournament.
