Details of the accident involving tourists from North Korea near Nizhny Novgorod have been revealed.

      On May 25, 2026, at 10:59, Incidents: Details have emerged about the accident involving North Koreans on the M-12 in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, 30 foreigners were involved in the accident, not 40 as previously reported. The driver of the tourist bus did not maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and crashed into it, after which the bus overturned. The bus driver sustained minor injuries. Citizens of North Korea were not harmed. Traffic police officers worked at the scene along with representatives from the migration management department. The issue of holding the bus driver administratively responsible for damaging road structures is being addressed.
