The Nizhny Novgorod capital repair fund has increased the spending limit for 2026.

      On May 19, 2026, at 17:56, Society The Nizhny Novgorod authorities approved the amount of funds that the regional operator will be able to allocate for the capital repair of apartment buildings in 2026. The spending limit will be 7.07 billion rubles, reports "Ъ-Privolzhye."

      This concerns funds generated from the contributions of homeowners for capital repairs. The regional operator of the program is the Nizhny Novgorod Fund for Capital Repairs of Apartment Buildings.

      According to the annual report of the fund, in 2025, 6.63 billion rubles were allocated for various types of capital repairs of apartment buildings. At the same time, the amount of contributions accrued and collected from homeowners was lower than the expenses. Last year, the fund received 5.37 billion rubles from residents. Bills for capital repair payments were issued to 861,500 homeowners, and the collection rate exceeded 97%.

      In total, according to the accounting reports, the fund received 7.69 billion rubles in 2025. Of this amount, 26 million rubles was profit earned by the fund independently. The expenses for maintaining the regional operator reached 320 million rubles for the year. At the same time, the short-term accounts payable to contractors and suppliers amounted to 6.5 billion rubles.
