Last night, near one of the popular cafes on Rozhdestvenskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod, a young man was knocked out with a single blow. Around half past three in the morning, the police received several reports about the incident, after which the victim had to be urgently hospitalized. According to eyewitnesses on social media, it all started with a verbal altercation. The man had a dispute with one of the establishment's visitors, and the conflict quickly spilled out onto the street. In the heat of the argument, someone in black and wearing a mask approached the opponents, came from behind, and unexpectedly struck the young man. He immediately collapsed onto the asphalt, hit his head, and lost consciousness. The arriving ambulance took him to intensive care. The attacker fled, but his identity was quickly established by the staff of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region. As reported by the agency, he turned out to be a 17-year-old local resident who is already registered with the juvenile affairs department. A protocol has been drawn up against his legal representative for failure to fulfill parenting duties.
