      Registration has begun for participation in the XX Open Bicycle Race "Minin's Road." To participate in the bicycle race, electronic registration must be completed by May 25. The bicycle race is organized by the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Historical and Cultural Public Organization "Petrovsky Union" in partnership with the administration and the Council of Deputies of the Balakhna Municipal District, with the support of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      This year, the bicycle race is supported by the Public Chamber of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Association of Trade Union Organizations "Oblsovprof," the Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Non-Profit Partnership "Balakhna Board of Directors," the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization "Immortal Regiment of Russia," the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Bicycle Club-NN," and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Path of Sports." The general partner of the bicycle race is the company "LUKOIL."

      The start of the XX Open Bicycle Race "Minin's Road" will take place on May 31 in Balakhna at Kuzma Minin Square. The bicycle race, timed to coincide with the Day of Remembrance of Citizen Minin, is dedicated this year to the 410th anniversary of the death of Russia's national hero Kuzma Minin.

      Participants in the bicycle race under the slogan "20 years together!" will ride along the route "From Minin to Pozharsky" from the city of Balakhna to the village of Yurino, where they will visit the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, built in the 17th century by Prince Pozharsky in memory of the feat of the Nizhny Novgorod militia of 1612. In Balakhna, participants of the bicycle race will lay flowers at the monument to Kuzma Minin, and in the village of Yurino, they will ring the Bell of Memory. The total length of the bicycle race route will be 70 km. 16+
