The admission campaign for the School of Creative Industries for the 2026/2027 academic year has started.

      On May 15, 2026, at 14:31 Culture and Leisure, the admission campaign for the School of Creative Industries based at the Nizhny Novgorod Music College named after M.A. Balakirev (Varvarskaya St., 3v) for the 2026/2027 academic year has started in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The admission campaign will take place in two stages. The first stage will last until June 20. It includes filling out the applicant's questionnaire, recording a video introduction lasting up to 2 minutes with information about the applicant's hobbies and interests, as well as other documents.       The second stage will be from June 20 to June 30. During this time, creative interviews with school mentors will take place. It is necessary to bring a portfolio of creative achievements to the meeting with the teachers. An invitation for the interview will be sent to the email of the parent or legal representative of the applicant.

      Education at the School of Creative Industries takes place in three main areas: photo and video production, animation and 3D graphics, interactive digital technologies. Students aged 12 to 17 can study at the School of Creative Industries. The duration of study is two years. The number of students in one year is no more than 60 people.

      In addition to academic activities, students of the School of Creative Industries become participants in projects implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Russian Museum of Photography, the design school of HSE Nizhny Novgorod, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V.I. Lenin, and other institutions. Educational intensives in creative fields are held at the School of Creative Industries, and students participate in exhibition projects. Education at the School of Creative Industries is free.
