Nizhny Novgorod enterprises can receive up to 50 million rubles for innovative projects.

      May 15, 2026 13:17 Economy Nizhny Novgorod developers, scientists, and technology companies are invited to participate in the grant programs of the Innovation Promotion Fund (FPI) within the framework of federal projects such as "Technologies" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," "Development of Production of the Most In-Demand Medicines and Medical Devices" of the national project "Health Technologies," and "Development of Machine Tool Industry Production" of the national project "Means of Production and Automation."

      The regional representation of the FPI - the Nizhny Novgorod Technopark "Ankudinovka" provides informational and organizational support at all stages of the application process for entrepreneurs.

      According to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship Maxim Cherkasov, participation in the Innovation Promotion Fund's competitions is an opportunity for developers and technology companies to obtain resources for the development of their projects, test the demand for solutions, and take the next step towards bringing products to market.

      "For young scientists, the 'Umnik' competition often becomes the first serious support that allows turning a scientific idea into a promising startup. Young developers from Nizhny Novgorod have already received 98.4 million rubles in grant support during the implementation of the competition. In the 'Start-Medical Devices-1' competition, Nizhny Novgorod companies have already attracted 5 million rubles. The 'Commercialization-Machine Engineering' competition is being held for the first time and is aimed at supporting enterprises ready to expand the production of modern machines, robotic complexes, and other high-tech products for machine engineering," said Maxim Cherkasov.

      Individuals aged 18 to 35 inclusive, who have not previously received grant support from the Innovation Promotion Fund, can participate in the "Umnik-2026" competition. The grant amount is 500,000 rubles. Applications are accepted until May 27, 2026.

      Individuals, as well as micro and small enterprises registered no more than three years ago, can participate in the "Start-Medical Devices-1" competition. The grant amount for this competition is up to 5 million rubles. Applications can be submitted until June 15, 2026.

      In the "Commercialization-Machine Engineering" competition, support can be received by micro and small enterprises registered more than two years ago. The grant amount is up to 50 million rubles. Applications for the competition are accepted until June 29, 2026.

      Applications for grants under the FPI programs "Development-NTI" and "Start-1" are also being accepted.
