The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case after the disappearance of a 16-year-old from Nizhny Novgorod.

      On May 15, 2026, at 12:24, Incidents: A criminal case has been initiated regarding the mysterious disappearance of a 16-year-old resident of Nizhny Novgorod. The investigation is being conducted based on signs of a crime as defined in part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Murder," reported the regional Investigative Committee.

      According to the investigation, around 9:00 PM on May 7, the teenager left his home on Sutyrina Street in Kstovo (SNT "Michurinetz") on a bicycle and did not return. His whereabouts remain unknown to this day.

      Description of the missing person: height 162 centimeters, average build, long dark blonde hair, gray-blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, the boy was wearing a black tracksuit with white inscriptions.

      Currently, investigators, together with law enforcement officers and volunteers, are conducting search operations. Possible witnesses are being interrogated, and the circumstances and reasons for the minor's mysterious disappearance are being established.
