The police found a 13-year-old "tagger" from the "Kanavinskaya" metro station.

      On May 15, 2026, at 12:56, Incidents In Nizhny Novgorod, police officers identified the teenager who clung to a subway car at the "Kanavinskaya" station. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

      The reason for the investigation was a video recording that spread on the internet on May 12. The footage shows that the minor climbed onto the car and rode into the tunnel. Earlier, the Nizhny Novgorod Metro reported that the recording was presumably made in April. After its dissemination, representatives of the enterprise contacted law enforcement agencies.

      An investigation was organized, during which the identity of the teenager was established. It turned out that the violator is 13 years old. The teenager, along with a legal representative, was summoned to the juvenile affairs department of police station No. 8 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod. A preventive conversation was held with him, and his representative was held administratively liable under part 1 of Article 5.35 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation for failing to fulfill duties regarding the maintenance and upbringing of the minor.

      The police reminded parents of the importance of regular conversations with children about personal and property safety. The agency emphasized that clinging to electric transport can lead to serious consequences, including falling onto the tracks and under the wheels, electric shock, collision with infrastructure objects, as well as burns from contact with heated equipment elements.

      Earlier, Mayor Yuri Shalabaev commented on the hooliganism of teenagers in the Nizhny Novgorod metro. According to him, they not only damage infrastructure but also pose a threat to the life and health of passengers.
