Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov met with the business community: what they talked about

During the meeting, issues were raised regarding the cost of leasing land plots, the operation of companies under mobile internet restrictions, leveling the playing field for shopping centers and marketplaces, connecting to networks, and building roads to enterprises. Additionally, entrepreneurs were interested in the employment of participants in the Special Military Operation (SMO) and the formation of a training program for skilled workers, particularly welders, as well as support for local producers and young designers. "Our task in extremely challenging economic conditions is to keep our finger on the pulse and maintain constant communication with businesses. The format of such open meetings allows entrepreneurs to ask direct, pressing questions and receive prompt 'feedback.' Undoubtedly, a large part of the questions today concerned business support in the current macroeconomic environment. Topics requiring solutions at the federal level were also raised — at the request of a manufacturer of small air-cushion vessels, we will appeal to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with a proposal to amend the legislation on preferential leasing. It is very important that businesses are also interested in how to develop and how, with the help of the Nizhny Novgorod government, to make a name for themselves in interregional and foreign markets," Yegor Polyakov said. The meeting also revealed the signing of a regulatory document governing the cost of leasing land plots for sports facilities. Previously, private sports organizations had drawn attention to a significant increase in costs. Responding to the request, the Nizhny Novgorod government decided to reduce the rental price for land plots under sports facilities. For sports facilities included in the special register of the Ministry of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the document also provides for the possibility of granting a plot under the regional project "Land for 1 Ruble" with a rental fee of 1 ruble per year for 10 years.
