MegaFon is deploying 5G at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair.

      May 15, 2026 11:13 Society MegaFon launches a 5G zone at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, where the conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (12+) will open on Monday. The fifth-generation network will cover the entire forum area, including the outdoor space with presentation stands, the Main Fair House, and the pavilions of the business and exhibition program. Local residents, tourists, and participants of the CIPR can use the test 5G network during the forum to work with digital services and communicate, as well as for solutions that require high data transfer speeds and minimal latency. The 5G solution installed at the forum site is designed to operate under conditions of a large number of simultaneous connections and provides high-speed data transmission," noted MegaFon's technical director Alexey Titov. CIPR is one of the main business events on technology and digitalization in Russia. The conference annually confirms its status as the most authoritative interactive zone for dialogue between representatives of government and business on issues of digital transformation of society and rapidly developing industries.
