The Nizhny Novgorod agricultural producer will increase production by 18% thanks to "Labor Productivity."

      May 14, 2026 15:16 Economy Experts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC) together with employees of the Nizhny Novgorod LLC "Diveevskoye" summarized the interim results of implementing lean technology tools at the enterprise as part of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." Specialists from the regional competence center work at the participating enterprises of the federal project for six months. After three months, an Information Day is held, during which RCC experts and the project team summarize the results and present the final action plan for achieving the goals to the enterprise's management. The company specializes in the cultivation of grain and fodder crops, livestock breeding, and the production of finished dairy and other food products. The production of whole milk was chosen as the pilot flow. The share of sales of this product in the company's revenue is 82%, so improvements in this area can enhance productivity across the entire enterprise. "RCC specialists, together with the working group, analyzed the processes at the enterprise and identified 13 'bottlenecks' in the flow, including issues with equipment connection, inaccuracies in product volume accounting, and interruptions in the operation of the feed distributor. Solutions were proposed for each of these points, and an action plan was developed. The implementation of the proposals from RCC specialists and the enterprise team will allow for an 18% increase in output on the pilot flow by the end of the project—from 264 to 314 liters per person," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. RCC experts trained 12 employees of the enterprise in lean technologies and are preparing three internal trainers who will be able to independently train their colleagues in the future. In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, lean technology tools within the framework of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy" are successfully implemented by 13 milk and dairy producers. Currently, a total of 318 companies are working on the implementation of lean technologies with government support in the region.
