On May 14, 2026, 15:14 Society Nizhny Novgorod residents became winners and prize-winners of the national award in the field of goods and services for children "Golden Bear." The award ceremony took place at the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry. The award has been held since 2010 by the Association of Enterprises of the Children's Goods Industry (IDT) with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in accordance with the objectives of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." "Today, for manufacturers of children's goods, it is important not only to produce quality products but also to make them recognizable. That is why industry awards like the 'Golden Bear' play a special role. For companies, it is an opportunity to present their developments to a wide audience, receive professional evaluation, and strengthen their positions in the market. And for the entire industry, it is a platform where modern standards of quality, safety, and approaches to the development of products for children are formed," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The project "Dobroteka" of the Nizhny Novgorod State Budgetary Institution "Multifunctional Center 'Family'" became the holder of two awards in the "Leaders of Childhood Infrastructure" stage. The organization took 2nd place in the "Social Project" nomination and also became the winner of the public voting. "The 'Dobroteka' project provides families with children the opportunity to use essential items, play, developmental, and rehabilitation equipment for free. Today, the 'Dobroteka' fund has more than 400 items, and over 240 families have already used the service. Using the service allows families to save from 30 to 80 thousand rubles during the period of having a child," said Tatiana Smetanina, director of the State Budgetary Institution "Multifunctional Center 'Family'." In the "Best Products for Childhood" season of the "Golden Bear" award, the Nizhny Novgorod brand "Lunatop" won in the "Best Goods for Moms and Babies" nomination. The expert evaluation of the products was conducted by representatives of leading retail chains and companies specializing in children's assortment. "For us, participation in the award is public recognition and understanding the importance of what we do. We create mats that help organize a safe and comfortable space for play and development for children from birth. We are glad that our product received a high evaluation from the professional community and retail representatives," shared Tatiana Shutova, founder of the "Lunatop" brand. The winners of the award were chosen based on the total points during the public voting on the award's website and the evaluation of the expert council.
