It became known how many months Nizhny Novgorod residents need to save for a new car.

      On May 10, 2026, at 14:00, Economy. Nizhny Novgorod residents will need from 14.9 to 66.1 months to save up for one of the popular new cars. These conclusions were reached by experts from Avito Auto and Avito Work.

      In their calculations, analysts relied on average salary offers in job vacancies in the first quarter of 2026, as well as on recommended retail prices for cars without discounts and promotions.

      The study included three models: LADA Granta, HAVAL Jolion, and Geely Monjaro.

      The price of the LADA Granta in the Comfort configuration with a 1.6 L engine (90 hp, manual transmission) is 1,101,000 rubles. The HAVAL Jolion in the Elite version with a 1.5 L engine (150 hp, automatic transmission, all-wheel drive) is valued at 2,599,000 rubles. The Geely Monjaro in the Flagship configuration with a 2.0 L engine (238 hp, automatic transmission, all-wheel drive) costs 4,899,990 rubles.

      According to Avito Work, in the first quarter of 2026, the average salary offer in the Nizhny Novgorod region reached 74,100 rubles per month. At this income level, it will take 14.9 months of savings to purchase the LADA Granta. It will take 35.1 months to save for the HAVAL Jolion, and 66.1 months for the Geely Monjaro.

      In the Volga Federal District, the highest salary offers were recorded in Mordovia—78,400 rubles per month. Residents of the region will need 14 months to gather the amount for the LADA Granta, 33.2 months for the HAVAL Jolion, and 62.5 months for the Geely Monjaro.
