Nizhny Novgorod drivers prefer to listen to Krug, "KiSh," and "Ruki Vverh!"

On average, they spend about three hours behind the wheel each day, and music remains the most popular format of audio content. This is evidenced by data from a study conducted by "Avito Auto" and "KION Music." Most residents of Nizhny Novgorod (67%) prefer to listen to their own music playlist, while 53% choose the radio. Surprisingly for many, the most popular track among Nizhny Novgorod drivers is the song "Green-Eyed Taxi" by Mikhail Boyarsky. This hit was chosen by 42% of respondents. In second place is the composition "Route E-95" by the band "Alice" (30%), and closing the top three is the song "Taxi, Taxi" by Igor Nikolaev (25%). The top five also includes "Cherry Nine" by the band "Combination" (21%) and "The Driver's Song" by Vladimir Vysotsky (17%). Most residents of Nizhny Novgorod (53%) prefer pop music. Following that are chanson and rock, chosen by 24% of respondents. Electronic music is popular among 20% of drivers, while 10% prefer classical music. However, generational differences are noticeable: young people aged 18 to 34 tend to listen to pop and rap, while drivers over 55 prefer chanson. Among domestic performers, Mikhail Krug leads, chosen by 30% of respondents. The top three also includes the bands "King and Jester" and "Hands Up!" (both at 29%).
