460th anniversary of Pavlov: what improvement works are expected for the city

      May 7, 2026 18:00 SocietyFestive events dedicated to the 460th anniversary of the founding of Pavlovo will be held throughout 2026. This was reported by pravda-nn.ru, citing the press service of the municipal administration. As part of the preparations for the anniversary date, the completion of the improvement of the embankment on Lomonosov Street is planned, as well as the creation of a cascading fountain in the same location. In addition, the park Ryabinovaya Rosha will be updated, where a monument to the warriors of the Pavlov land will be installed. For the celebration, the Pavlov Gates at the entrance will also be renovated; the contracting organization has already begun work. The anniversary will be celebrated by the townspeople with a large-scale festive program that is planned for the entire year. For example, in the summer, a ceremonial opening of the park named after the 40th anniversary of the VLKSM is scheduled, its improvement took place as part of the All-Russian competition for the best practices of creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns. In turn, in September, the opening of the "Kvantorium" in Pavlovo and the renovated school No. 2 in Vorsma will take place. A wide range of work is being carried out to improve the historical center of the city of Pavlovo: from pruning trees and shrubs to repairing roads, building facades, and fences, local administration representatives shared.
