DOM.RF Bank financed the restoration of an old income house in Nizhny Novgorod.

On May 7, 2026, at 16:15, the Dom.RF Bank provided funding for the restoration of a cultural heritage site—a tenement house from the early 20th century in Nizhny Novgorod on Zavodskoy Park Street. Funds totaling 79.7 million rubles will be allocated under the preferential lending program for the restoration of cultural heritage sites, with the first tranche of financing already directed. The investor plans to equip the premises as an administrative center with public and exhibition spaces.

"The Dom.RF Bank has the opportunity to participate in the restoration of historical sites by providing loans to investors on preferential terms. The interest rate is set below market values to support small and medium-sized businesses in such a socially significant endeavor as preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the country. Investments in historical buildings are not just business; they are a contribution to the development of the city and the preservation of its unique appearance. Such projects help bring old mansions back to life and make them part of the economy, attracting people," said Anna Kornelyuk, Vice President and Director of the Transactional Business Block at Dom.RF Bank.

The building is located in the historical district of Sormovo. The house was built in 1895 in the Art Nouveau style—made of red and white bricks. At that time, it housed the management of the Zavodskoy Park, employees of the main office, and the director of the factory, A.P. Meshchersky. The well-maintained street where the house is located was inaccessible to other residents and was fenced off, with a gatekeeper at the entrance. During the Soviet era, Zavodskoy Park remained a residence for managers and leading specialists for many years due to the lack of other prestigious housing from the factory.

Currently, the building is in unsatisfactory condition and is not in use. The internal layout remains within the capital walls, and the historical interiors have been partially preserved.
