Timur Mukhanov and Kirill Svishchev signed new contracts with HC Torpedo.
Forwards Timur Mukhanov and Kirill Svishchev will continue to play for Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo. Both hockey players have signed new two-year two-way contracts with the club.
Svishchev has been in the Torpedo system for three seasons. It was in Nizhny Novgorod that he made his KHL debut.
In the past season, the 20-year-old forward played 30 games for the main team in the KHL and scored 5 points (3+2). Additionally, he played 24 games for Torpedo-Gorky in the VHL, where he recorded 14 points (5+9). The forward also participated in 12 MHL games for Chaika, scoring 7 points (2+5).
Mukhanov joined the Torpedo roster at the end of January. He has a total of 171 games in the KHL.
As part of the Nizhny Novgorod team, the forward played 16 games and scored two goals. He also played one game for the farm club and participated in 11 games for Chaika, where he scored 11 points (4+7).
Both hockey players won bronze medals this season as part of the youth team.
“Timur and Kirill have completed their last season in the MHL at their age, have great potential for further sports growth and development, which they must realize in Torpedo. There is a lot of work ahead,” noted Torpedo's general director Evgeny Zabuga.
Earlier, new contracts with the club were also signed by Sergey Goncharuk, Arseniy Varlakov, Alexander Pelevin, Ruslan Gazizov, Artem Misnikov, and Amir Garaev.
