      VOLUNTEERS FOR THE ONLINE EVENT

      You can become a volunteer for the "Immortal Regiment Online" event (12+). Requirements: age – over 16 years, basic computer skills. The task is to verify and process stories and photographs uploaded to the website. Experience in historical projects, skills in graphic editors and databases are welcome. ‼The digital march of heroes will take place on May 9 at the website 2026.polkrf.ru (12+) and on media screens across the country. Today, May 6, is the last day for registration!

      FARMERS, APPLY NOW!

      The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod region offers villagers grants ranging from three to 30 million rubles. Peasant (farm) enterprises (KFH) or individual entrepreneurs owning land can apply for a grant for the development of a farm. A citizen planning to create a KFH can also apply for a grant of up to eight million rubles. Recipients of the "Agroprogress" grant can be agricultural producers included in the register of small and medium-sized businesses, excluding individual entrepreneurs of KFH and LPH (personal subsidiary farms). The grant amount is up to 30 million rubles, but no more than 25% of the project cost. Funds can be directed towards the purchase, creation, and modernization of facilities intended for the production, storage, processing, and sale of agricultural products, the purchase of equipment, transport, and agricultural animals and birds.

      PRIORITIES FOR INVESTMENTS

      Projects aimed at achieving technological leadership in Russia, in robotics, unmanned aerial technologies, low-tonnage chemistry, bioeconomics, and the implementation of artificial intelligence in traditional sectors of the economy are priorities for private investments in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was stated by Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov. Among the promising areas for investment are the IT sector, the creation of data processing centers, and the development of tourist infrastructure. The Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of creating quality warehouse facilities.

      AWARDS FOR FIREFIGHTERS

      56 employees of the Nizhny Novgorod Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received awards on Fire Protection Day. They were recognized for their contributions to protecting the population and territories from emergencies and for their successes in service activities. Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Sergey Polovnikov emphasized that Fire Protection Day is a symbol of courage, heroism, and selflessness, and that today's generation of firefighters is worthy of continuing the traditions of their predecessors.

      "KNOWLEDGE" HAS STARTED THE MARATHON

      State officials, scientists, national heroes, military correspondents, Olympic champions, and cultural figures spoke to the youth of the region at the "Knowledge.First" marathon.

      It was organized by the "Knowledge" society in honor of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The marathon program, conducted under the national project "Youth and Children," began with a dialogue about the courage and glory of the defenders of the Fatherland. The Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, a holder of three Courage Orders, Yevgeny Chintsov, and military correspondent Dmitry Radchenko shared how people of different ages, nationalities, and faiths unite in the face of combat actions to achieve a common goal.
