NGLU will pay students 400,000 rubles for service in UAV troops.

      May 5, 2026 16:47 Society Students and staff of NGLU named after Dobrolyubov, who have signed a contract for service in unmanned systems troops, will receive an additional payment of 400,000 rubles. This was reported in the university's MAX channel. Thus, when signing a contract for military service, a one-time payment of 2.5 million rubles is provided. This amount includes federal, regional, and municipal cash payments totaling 2.1 million rubles, as well as 400,000 rubles from NGLU. In addition to the one-time payment, contract soldiers will receive a monthly salary. During the first three months allocated for mandatory training, it will range from 50,000 to 60,000 rubles. After completing training, payments can reach 300,000 rubles per month until the end of the service term. Additional payments for combat merits, achievements, and destroyed equipment are also provided. Their amount varies from 5,000 to 500,000 rubles. As a result, the total amount of payments can reach 5.5 million rubles per year. The contract is for one year, including three months of training. Upon expiration of the term, servicemen of unmanned systems troops are guaranteed dismissal if they refuse to sign a new contract. Citizens subject to conscription can choose contract service instead of compulsory service. One year of contract service counts as military service by conscription. Federal and regional social benefits are provided for participants of the SVO.
