About 200 mentor teachers from 40 municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region, as well as from Mangush (DPR), completed training under the advanced training program "Technologies for Supporting Educational Teams in Implementing Socially Significant Patriotic Projects" as part of the "Homeland. Mentors" project. The organizers were the House of National Unity and the Regional Resource Center of the "Navigators of Childhood" project with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. At the solemn ceremony, Dmitry Grachev, Deputy Minister of Internal Regional and Municipal Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a veteran of the SVO, holder of two Courage Orders, and participant of the second stream of the federal program "Time of Heroes," congratulated the participants on completing the educational intensive. He emphasized the importance of mentorship in the upbringing of youth. Over the course of two months, school teams consisting of directors, deputies, and educational advisors underwent in-person and online intensives. Federal experts presented methods for forming project teams of students. The outcome of the training was the defense of their own patriotic project programs. Sergey Fyodorov, head of the House of National Unity, emphasized that the program is aimed at uniting educational teams and implementing modern project work technologies in schools. Training for the teams was free of charge. As a result, participants received state-standard certificates of advanced training. Tatiana Ermolayeva, Deputy for Educational Work at the Zinyakovskaya School of the Gorodets Municipal District, noted the practical orientation of the program and the tools acquired for creating initiative student groups. The "Homeland. Mentors" program is being implemented as part of an acceleration program for youth initiatives aimed at popularizing the image of the Hero of the Fatherland "Homeland" and is focused on uniting youth teams from the Nizhny Novgorod region and the DPR.
