According to SuperJob, after the 9th grade, many do not want to stay in school: 54% of parents reported that their children plan to go to colleges. However, among 11th-grade graduates, this option is chosen much less frequently — only 12%. The majority of eleventh graders (67%) are focused on enrolling in universities. When it comes to higher education institutions, the top choices are engineering and medical specialties (18% each). IT was chosen by 15% of respondents. Linguistics and translation also made the top three popular options — 12%. Students choose jurisprudence and pedagogy slightly less often (7% each), while PR and economics are selected by only 4%. Among those planning to enroll in colleges, there is also a noticeable interest in modern fields. One in five teenagers wants to connect their future with IT (20%). In second place are skilled trades in construction and manufacturing (17%). Next is medicine (13%). The list also includes pedagogy (8%), while jurisprudence and construction each garnered 7%.
