Traffic at the intersection of Vaneeva and Suslova streets will be restricted until May 18.
On April 21, 2026, at 18:29 Society From April 25 to May 18, 2026, traffic will be partially restricted at the intersection of Vaneeva and Nadezhda Suslova streets in Nizhny Novgorod. This is due to the construction of monolithic sections of tram tracks, the city administration reported.
From April 25 to May 6, traffic on Vaneeva Street will be organized in one lane in each direction. During this time, the left turn from Vaneeva Street to Nadezhda Suslova Street will be temporarily canceled, as well as from Nadezhda Suslova Street to Vaneeva Street. To perform the maneuver, drivers will be offered an alternative route: via the parallel road to Vaneeva Street, exiting onto it via Admiral Vasyunin Street.
During the construction period, the public transport route will also change. Buses No. 20, 61, and 94 heading towards Brinsky Street will follow Vaneeva, Vasyunin, the local road parallel to Vaneeva Street, and Nadezhda Suslova Street. A stop "Nadezhda Suslova Street" will be introduced. In the opposite direction, the routes will remain unchanged.
Buses No. 18, 47, 72, 82, and 242 heading towards Beketov Street will be routed along the local road of Vaneeva Street and Vasyunin Street, while in the opposite direction they will continue to operate as before.
Motorists are advised to adhere to speed limits, be attentive, and follow temporary road signs.
It was previously reported that trams will return to Nadezhda Suslova Street in the second quarter of 2026.
