Vladimir Putin: "Nizhny Novgorod is one of Russia's key bases"

      April 21, 2026 21:25 Society President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called Nizhny Novgorod one of the key bases of Russia during a meeting with representatives of the municipal community as part of the III All-Russian forum "Small Homeland - Strength of Russia." The speaker of the Nizhny Novgorod Duma, Evgeny Chintsov, participated in the event on April 21.

      "Nizhny Novgorod, both as a city and as a subject, is developing very well, a powerful subject, one of the key bases of Russia. So please convey the best wishes and words of gratitude to all your colleagues – the deputies of the city Duma," the head of state said, addressing the chairman of the city Duma.

      Let us remind you that at this same meeting, Chintsov and Putin discussed the outcome of the special military operation. The President, in particular, stated that all goals will be achieved.
