Repair work has begun at the Ardatovsky Agricultural College.

On April 20, 2026, at 18:32, Society Repair work has started at the Ardatovsky Agricultural College. A third educational and production agricultural cluster in the region will be created based on the educational organization as part of the federal project "Professionalism" of the national project "Youth and Children." Investments in the creation of the cluster will amount to 200 million rubles. Of this, 100 million rubles will come from the federal budget, 50 million from the regional budget, and 50 million rubles from the project's industrial partner (agroholding "Russian Field"). "The project includes not only the repair of buildings but also serious technological re-equipment. The updated college will become the face of modern agricultural education. Its students will be able to familiarize themselves with the most advanced production and educational technologies. The list includes, for example, unmanned aerial systems, modern equipment for agronomy, veterinary medicine, and product processing. Additionally, there will be training for teachers," said Nikolai Denisov, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This year, the first academic building will see updates to classrooms and halls on the first and third floors, the entrance group and stair landing, the roof and facade will be repaired, and heating, water supply, and drainage systems, as well as fire alarm systems, will be replaced. The replacement of glazing throughout the building is also planned. "The college is conveniently located between our key enterprises – the Pavlovsk, Vyksa, and Diveevo poultry farms. Therefore, based on the updated educational institution, we will prepare highly qualified personnel for our productions, including through the creation of new educational programs that will help future specialists gain experience in creating quality food products for our fellow countrymen," emphasized Anton Romanov, the General Director of the "Russian Field" group of companies. As explained by the regional Minister of Education Mikhail Puchkov, today about 400 students study at the college, with plans to increase the number of students. Within the framework of the new cluster, starting from the next academic year, 2026-2027, students will be trained in areas focused on the college's main employer: agronomy, operation and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, animal science, veterinary medicine, food technology from plant raw materials, economics and accounting, as well as car repair and maintenance. "The federal program 'Professionalism' gives a powerful boost to each institution of secondary vocational education that participates in it. Educational programs are tailored to specific employers, and training becomes even more practice-oriented. As a result, graduates, upon arriving at their workplace, immediately demonstrate quality work, bypassing a lengthy adaptation process," said Mikhail Puchkov. Igor Tyurin, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly Committee on the agro-industrial complex and rural development (United Russia faction), noted that the opening of the agricultural cluster is a long-term investment in the future of the village. "We see that business is ready to support government initiatives, investing in the repair and improvement of conditions for student education. These initiatives fully reflect the provisions of the people's program of 'United Russia,' which pays attention to the development of rural areas and staffing the agro-industrial complex. Our common task is to build a system from the school desk - through college or university - directly to a modern workplace in the native farm. Only in this way can we provide the agro-industrial complex with qualified personnel who will not leave for the city because they will know: on the land, they will find decent conditions and technologies," said the deputy. It should be noted that the first agricultural cluster under the "Professionalism" program was created in the region in 2022 based on the Nizhny Novgorod State Engineering and Economic University. Partner enterprises for its creation included LLC "New Century," LLC "Management Company 'Russian Field,'" JSC "Knyagininskoye Milk," LLC Agricultural Firm "Spring," KFH Svisunov Alexander Ivanovich, LLC "Trading House 'AGAT,'" LLC "Meta-Com Agro." In 2023, the second cluster was established based on the Shakhunsky College of Agricultural Industry, where the supporting enterprises became JSC "Milk," LLC "Vskhody," JSC "Khmelevitsy," and the collective farm "New Path." In total, there are already 16 educational and production clusters of the "Professionalism" program in the region, covering areas from machine engineering and aircraft manufacturing to the nuclear industry and pedagogy. In 2026, three more clusters are planned to be opened. It should be noted that the national project "Youth and Children" is being implemented on the instructions of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. It includes nine federal projects and programs: "Russia – a Land of Opportunities," "We Are Together," "Russia in the World," "Everything for the Best Children," "Leading Schools," "Teachers and Mentors," "Creating a Network of Modern Campuses," "Universities for the Generation of Leaders," and "Professionalism."
