      Today, thousands of volunteers gathered on the shores of water bodies across all regions of Russia. They participated in large-scale clean-up events. This marked the start of a new season for the nationwide campaign "Water of Russia," part of the national project "Ecological Well-Being." Among the most active participants were traditionally employees of the Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republic of Mordovia. In a video conference format, 8 regions connected with eco-volunteers from across the country: Moscow, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ivanovo regions, the Republic of Tatarstan and Chuvashia, the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Each region selected its own iconic location for the clean-up event. In Nizhny Novgorod, activists cleaned up the shores of Lake Meshcherskoye. This is not only one of the favorite recreational spots for city residents but also a regional natural monument. The clean-up brought together representatives from all generations, employees from city enterprises, supervisory authorities, educational institutions, and youth organizations.
