84 young musicians will perform with the orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod" as part of the "Youth Assemblies-2026" project.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, the musical project "Youth Assemblies-2026" has started, within the framework of which 84 young performers will perform with the chamber orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod." This was reported by the city's Department of Information Policy. The project has been held annually in Nizhny Novgorod since 2004. It provides talented children from various cities and settlements in the region the opportunity to showcase themselves and perform on the same stage with a professional orchestra. Among the "graduates" of the project are world-class musicians: violinist Ekaterina Nazarova and conductor Maxim Emelyanychev. In 2026, a record number of applications were submitted for participation - 113. As a result of the auditions, 50 participants became laureates, and 34 received diplomas. The finalists of the project are 84 performers aged from 7 to 20 years from Nizhny Novgorod, Dzerzhinsk, Bor, Kstovo, Balakhna, Arzamas, Diveevo, Sarov, Bogorodsk, Vyyezdnoye, and Tumbotino. For the first time, thanks to the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, concerts will take place not only in Nizhny Novgorod but also in the district centers of the region. The final concerts in Nizhny Novgorod will be held on April 19 at the conservatory and on April 26 in the Shalyapin Hall. Tickets are available on the orchestra's website and from ticket operators, including through the Pushkin Card. Concerts in the districts will take place in Dzerzhinsk (May 13), Arzamas (May 23), Vyksa (June 2), and Pavlovo (June 9). The founder and organizer of the project is the chamber orchestra "Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod."
