A fence around the Nizhny Novgorod FSB building will be installed for 150 million rubles.

      On April 10, 2026, at 13:45, it was reported that 150.3 million rubles are planned to be spent on the installation of a fence at the building of the FSB for the Nizhny Novgorod region. This information was reported on the government procurement portal.

      The competition was announced by the MBU "GUMMiD". Applications are accepted until April 27. The results are scheduled to be announced on April 30.

      According to the procurement conditions, the work must be completed no later than November 30 of this year.

      It should be noted that last year, 65 million rubles were planned to be allocated from the city budget for the installation of a fence at this building. The administration then explained that the work would be carried out as part of a large-scale update of the urban infrastructure — the redevelopment project of the historical district of Zapochaine. This includes, among other things, a major renovation of Malaya Pokrovskaya Street.

      In March 2026, the management of state protection of cultural heritage sites of the Nizhny Novgorod region approved a protective obligation for the administrative building located at Malaya Pokrovskaya, 1, which houses the FSB for the region.
