On April 9, 2026, at 12:51, Society In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a utility company was ordered to equip a water intake on the Malaya Kaksha River in the Shakhunsky district with a special fish protection device. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service for the region. The resource-supplying organization was supposed to install the equipment by court order to prevent aquatic biological resources from entering the pressurized water supply network. However, the company did not comply with the requirements voluntarily within the established timeframe. As a result, the bailiff imposed an enforcement fee of 50,000 rubles on the organization. The service representatives also warned the management twice about criminal liability for non-compliance with the court's decision. Additionally, three protocols were drawn up for non-compliance with the non-property requirements contained in the enforcement document, totaling 170,000 rubles. The measures taken affected the situation: after coordination with the Moscow-Oka Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries, the enterprise installed the fish protection device. It was previously reported that a universal, or "box", investment proposal for the creation of a fish farming enterprise was prepared in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
