The tax authorities want to bankrupt the former Nizhny Novgorod deputy Glushkov.

April 8, 2026 10:13 Economy Former deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Duma Alexander Glushkov is facing bankruptcy. The relevant information has been published in the case file of the Arbitration Court of the region. Glushkov is currently serving a sentence in a strict regime correctional colony for bribery and fraud. From 2013 to 2016, he, along with his brother Vladimir, illegally seized a plot in Balakhna, where a bus station was located, and built a shopping center there, leaving residents without a transport hub. The amount of damage from their actions exceeded 30 million rubles. The bankruptcy claim against Glushkov was filed by the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of Russia No. 18 for the Nizhny Novgorod region. The amount of the claim exceeds 600 thousand rubles. The court left the application unprocessed, as it does not fully meet the requirements of the specified norms. The plaintiff has been asked to provide copies of the court order and the debtor's declarations by May 12. It was previously reported that the Nizhny Novgorod court completed the bankruptcy of the "Association" bank. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
