      On April 8, 2026, at 09:47, Society The Gorodetsky City Court issued a ruling on the case regarding construction on forest fund lands near the Volga. The lawsuit from the environmental prosecutor's office of the Nizhny Novgorod region against the Association of the Sports and Recreation Complex "Green Valley" was upheld: the court ordered the demolition of the residential buildings erected there. The association is headed by entrepreneur and former deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod Duma Alexey Bobrov. In addition to his cottage, the prosecutor's office demanded the demolition of approximately fifteen other houses. Among the property owners are the son of State Duma deputy Vadim Bulavinov and several Nizhny Novgorod businessmen, reports "Ъ-Privolzhye." Disputes over the legality of construction in "Green Valley" have been ongoing since 2019. Despite the fact that the legal entity of the village previously approved the projects for the development of forest areas with the regional Ministry of Forestry, an examination was appointed during the court proceedings. Specialists from the Volga Regional Center for Judicial Expertise of the Ministry of Justice concluded that the buildings erected are capital structures. At the same time, legislation explicitly prohibits the construction of such facilities on state forest fund lands. Association representative Vasily Voinov stated that the court's decision will be appealed. According to him, the conducted examination raises doubts: "In our opinion, the experts' conclusions are unreliable and contain a large number of errors. The conclusions were made by young and inexperienced specialists." He also noted that the court refused to conduct a repeated examination in higher institutions of the Ministry of Justice.
