This was reported to "RIA Novosti" by associate professor of NNGU, phenologist Mikhail Lyubov. According to the expert, a full return of winter is not expected, however, brief snowfall is quite possible against the backdrop of the anticipated cooling. As the specialist explained, a cold cyclone is moving from the North Atlantic towards the European part of Russia, which may provoke such weather changes. In the northern areas of the region, the formation of a temporary snow cover is not ruled out. At the same time, in most cases, the snow will be of a brief nature and will likely melt quickly after falling.
