      April 6, 2026 20:17 Society President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin instructed the government to improve the process of making appointments with doctors through the "Gosuslugi" portal. Special attention should be paid to the possibility of deferred appointments if there are currently no available slots for visits.

      To address this task, the president instructed the development of a function that will automatically offer patients alternative options for visiting other medical institutions. This innovation is expected to facilitate the process of obtaining medical assistance and increase citizens' satisfaction with the quality of medical services.

      In addition, 360.ru reports that the president emphasized the need to implement artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. Vladimir Putin instructed the government and regional authorities to work together on this issue and study the experience of other countries in the digitalization of medical services. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and regional governors have been appointed responsible for carrying out this instruction.
