The focus was on three socially significant facilities — two kindergartens and a residential building for relocating citizens from emergency housing. The off-site meeting was held by the chairman of the Duma, Evgeny Chintsov. Together with the head of the relevant commission, Mikhail Ivanov, deputies, and representatives of the city administration, the participants visited construction sites in the Soviet and Prioksky districts. The first stop was a kindergarten for 158 places on Vaneeva Street. Currently, the basement work has been completed, and the builders have begun constructing the first floor — the installation of columns, walls, and ceilings is underway. The facility is scheduled to be completed in October 2027. Then the commission inspected the second kindergarten in the "Zenit-2" residential complex, designed for 320 places. As reported by the director of the construction and capital repair department, Tatyana Geraskina, the framework for the third floor is already being erected here. Both facilities are financed from federal, regional, and city budgets. The third facility is an apartment building on 40 Years of Victory Street. It is being built as part of the federal project "Housing" and the regional program for relocating citizens from emergency housing. The building will have 261 apartments, with a height of 11-12 floors. Currently, facade and finishing works are being completed on the site: elevators are being installed, interior finishing is underway, and tiles are being laid in common areas. According to Evgeny Chintsov, all work is on schedule; however, residents are closely monitoring the deadlines. He noted that the authorities' task is to ensure the timely completion of the facilities and comfortable conditions for the citizens. "Our task is to make sure that children attend modern kindergartens near their homes, and that people move into comfortable apartments as quickly as possible," he emphasized, adding that parliamentary oversight will continue until the construction is completed. Mikhail Ivanov, for his part, reported that the work is being carried out in accordance with municipal contracts. On Vaneeva Street, builders are erecting load-bearing structures, and monolithic and masonry works are ongoing. The construction readiness is low, but there are no doubts about meeting the deadlines, as the contractor has established a good reputation in the construction of social facilities in Nizhny. On the site in the "Zenit-2" residential complex, according to him, the construction readiness is higher: the thermal contour has been formed, internal works are ongoing, and the installation of engineering networks is underway, which will allow the construction to be completed at the beginning of next year. As for the building on 40 Years of Victory Street, Ivanov noted that facade and finishing works are being completed, the tower crane is being dismantled, and landscaping is beginning. "All seasonal works on the last two facilities must be completed this year to meet the planned deadlines for commissioning. I am confident that by the middle of this year, residents from emergency housing will receive their keys and become happy new homeowners.
