The salary debt of 3 million turned into a criminal case in Nizhny Novgorod.

      April 3, 2026 09:00 Economy A company producing electrical switchboard equipment in Nizhny Novgorod owes its employees over 3 million rubles, reported the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      It has been established that employees have not received their salaries from November 2025 to February 2026. The employer had the ability to pay, but spent the profits on other non-priority business needs.

      In connection with this fact, investigators from the investigative department in the Prioksky district have opened a criminal case (part 2 of article 145.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

      It was previously reported that the management of LLC "Smartcom" settled a multi-million debt in wages. However, the "RUMO" plant has not yet paid the promised salary.
