Nizhny Novgorod doctors will be sent to sanatoriums to treat burnout.

      April 3, 2026 07:00 Society Nizhny Novgorod doctors, as well as employees of medical colleges and state pharmacies, will be sent to sanatoriums to treat emotional burnout. A joint initiative was launched by the regional health ministry and the healthcare workers' union, reports the editor-in-chief of MIA "Stationary Press," Alexey Nikonov. Union members among the medical staff are eligible for compensation of up to 43,000 rubles, which is almost the full cost of a 14-day stay in local sanatoriums. Moreover, the most "young" union organizations, established in 2026, will be able to count on maximum support. Until May 31, three sanatoriums in the Nizhny Novgorod region are ready to accept participants for rehabilitation.
