      On April 2, 2026, at 19:58, Society The Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region satisfied the claim of the Interregional Office of Rosprirodnadzor for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Republic of Mordovia for the recovery of debts from LLC "Sukhobezvodinskoye Housing and Utilities" for payment for negative impact on the environment (NPO).

      As established by the supervisory authority, the enterprise operating the treatment facilities in the Semyonovsky District did not transfer more than 2.8 million rubles to the budget for the discharge of pollutants.

      The inspection showed that for ten months from the beginning of 2024, the organization operated without a valid Environmental Impact Declaration. During this period, the enterprise made excess discharges of pollutants.

      As a result of the control, Rosprirodnadzor drew up an act and sent a demand for recalculation and payment of fees for NPO, but the company did not voluntarily comply. In this regard, the agency went to court, which supported its position.

      The court ordered LLC "Sukhobezvodinskoye Housing and Utilities" to pay not only the amount of the debt but also penalties for late payment. The total amount of recovery exceeded 3.3 million rubles.

      It was reported that 644 million rubles are being demanded from the solid waste landfill in Nizhny Novgorod for environmental damage. Legal proceedings are underway.
