The energy company "T Plus" awarded students of Nizhny Novgorod Lyceum No. 38.

      On April 3, 2026, at 09:33, the Nizhny Novgorod branch of "T Plus" awarded the winners of the annual competition for works on energy topics by students of Nizhny Novgorod Lyceum No. 38, which specializes in in-depth studies of physics and technical disciplines.

      This academic year, the students were offered the topic "New energy-efficient solutions for your school and home." The competition traditionally started during the Energy Decade held at the lyceum in November. The students submitted 55 works for it.

      Diplomas and prizes were awarded to the winners at a ceremony held on April 2 by Alexey Mar'in, head of the Automated Control System Department of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of "T Plus," and Dmitry Burov, head of the production efficiency improvement department of the CHPP. The jury awarded first place to 11th grader Mikhail Kabakov. He will receive his award later – with his work "Energy-efficient heating of residential premises," he became a participant in the face-to-face round of the All-Russian competition of research projects for high school students "School Premier League," which is currently taking place at the Saint Petersburg Mining University.

      The second prize winners of the competition were ninth graders Margarita Rybochkina and Alexey Zinovyev, while the third places were taken by tenth grader Alexey Belozyorov and ninth grader Vladislav Bakhtin. The other ten finalists received consolation prizes.

      The competition for lyceum students in the energy sector has been held since 2006 as part of the joint career guidance project "Man and Energy."

      "The goal of the project is to engage high school students with a strong background in physics and engineering in the field of energy, showing that this profession opens up great prospects for them," noted Irina Romacheva, head of the regional center for strategic communications of "T Plus" in Nizhny Novgorod.
