In December 2024, Saidov's son was brutally murdered in one of the cafes in Shakhunya. The suspect in this case, Eduard Shamiev, was put on the wanted list, but his whereabouts have not yet been established. The second person involved in the case is under a travel ban. According to a source from "Izvestia," the investigation is also considering the version that both crimes may be connected. Daughter-in-law Daria reported that she fears for her life and the safety of her underage daughter. She suspects that the former deputy may have been followed, and the attack occurred at a time when he was home alone. The man's body was discovered by an acquaintance with whom Saidov had a business trip planned. It is worth noting that the body of the 60-year-old man with gunshot wounds was found on March 26 in his cottage on Komsomolskaya Street in Shakhunya.
