      March 28, 2026 09:21 Society A state of heightened readiness has been introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod district of the regional center.

      According to a decree on the city hall's website, the special regime is in effect due to an emergency situation in a building on the territory of the VTsSPS sanatorium in the resort village of Zeleny Gorod.

      Recall that on March 12, the roof of apartment building No. 10/2 could not withstand the load due to accumulated snow and collapsed. Residents were urgently evacuated. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case.

      A state of heightened readiness has been established within a radius of three meters from the boundary of the emergency building.

      For those left without housing, a temporary accommodation and food point has been organized at the "Chayka" children's camp.

      It should be noted that a state of heightened readiness has also been introduced on Ilyinskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod.
